After graduating in Costume Production at Rose Bruford, the opportunity arose to join the West End as a costume assistant, specialising in alterations, repairs, and SOS dressing.
Shortly following that, came various other contracts aiding pre-production and production teams with various wardrobe challenges, as well as private making and alterations work.
During this time, my sewing company started to begin under my first name.
When I relocated down to South Wales, I continued my various making roles, adding more private sewing to my day. Just A Thread Away was created in 2011.
In August 2012 I moved again, to the stunning and very friendly Gransden’s area, in South Cambridge, where I now plan to stay for a long time.
Now I mainly specialise in costume making, bespoke alterations and clothing transformation work.
